National PTA has a long-standing commitment to arts education. The Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boost student confidence and success in the arts and in life.
Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-created theme. This 50+ year-old program helps them explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.
2026-2027 Reflections theme: “What My Culture Means to Me”! The key to the Reflections program is the student interpreting the prompt any way they want to - this is theirs to think about and express however they desire!
The deadline for 2026 - 2027 WBMS PTA submissions will be Friday October 9th.
Fillable Student Entry Form - Please use this form only as it has all of the pertinent information pre-filled for you and it allows you to type your students information ensuring it's legible versus handwritten forms which can be hard to decipher for us and especially for the judges to read the artist statements.
